The build is taking shape. I’ve been exploring where to mount the ultrasonic sensor for the Arduino so the design stays clean and cat‑friendly.

📌 Placement decision

At first I considered mounting the sensor above the food crane/chute, but that might spook the cats if it’s too close to where they eat.
Decision: mount the sensor as high as possible on the lid to keep it discrete and out of the way.
